I figured there aren't any other videos out there to show you how so why not.. Just be careful to back everything up along the way! In this video I'll be adding MediEvil II to my internal memory of already replaced games.
In order to do this you will need to have FTP access to your console. This means you must go through the process of copying BleemSync to flash drive, plugging it into port 2 (with the power cord unplugged). Plug it in, press power, let it do its thing for like five seconds, it turns off, light goes out, comes back on after 8 seconds (give or take), press power. [
Playstation Classic must be plugged into your PC at this point]
Programs used in this video:
*SmartFTP (There are many free alternatives, this just happens to be my favorite.
*DB Browser for SQLite (Freeware; https://sqlitebrowser.org/)
*Notepad++ (freeware; https://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
*3D Box art found in this reddit thread: http://bit.ly/3dboxart
That's really all there is to it.
Note: Games will not be in alphabetical order unless you dick around with the regional.db file and whatnot.
(reorder the game folders, etc.). Bleemsync 1.1 will surely have an automated script when it's released and I don't have time to be doing all that sort of thing.
FTP:

Port: 21
Use https://psxdatacenter.com to check your region code serial.
/gaadata/databases/regional.db is the file you need to edit with dB Browser. MAKE SURE YOU BACK THIS UP BEFORE EDITING!
Game .bin/.cue files are found in /gaadata/## back these FULL FOLDERS up as well before editing.
/data/AppData/sony/pcsx/## is where your save games are held as well as options. There is typically a pcsx.cfg shortcut found here meaning it is using default settings (otherwise wasn't defined in /gaadata/##).
(!) Be sure to define the region serial the game has been renamed to within the .cue file otherwise it may not know what you're trying to get it to load. It IS case-sensitive!
(!) Save games from USB storage are usable internally but you will have to edit some things. [not shown in this video]
(!) License files are Tab, Tab, double-space on the second line. A copyright symbol can be made by holding alt and pressing 0169.
(!) I am not responsible if you break your stuff.
This is simply a workflow demonstration as if you were looking over my shoulder and I knew you were there just staring.
Overall result: Gran Turismo had some graphical glitches on the title screen and a little slow down. This can be fixed by changing the psx_clock to 54 in pcsx.cfg.
Also, if you do end up doing this, be sure to replace your recovery regional database as well in case you decide to initialize the console later. (/usr/sony/share/data/databases is where it's located. Rename it and replace/overwrite the one for your region, of course. Make sure you don't have any USB storage devices attached or it may not accept the rewritable command). In which case if you do not and do initialize the console later it will put the original titles back on while looking for the correct roms and art. This involves using Putty and the mount -o remount rw / command.
Subscribe if you want to. I really don't give a shit.
