That’s the philosophy of Colorado Aromatics, the brainchild of formulator and founder Cindy Jones, Ph.D and biochemist. Her motto is “Our Farm to Your Skin,” what she terms natural, effective skincare” that’s also “cultivated and functional.” Sounds like a great combination, especially since it’s also sustainable and backed by science.

A SCIENTIST MAKES MAKE-UP
Cindy says, “We do consulting for cosmetic product development and formulation and ingredient research for the botanicals and cosmetic industry. We also do microbiology testing and other assays. Our labs are on our farm where we grow herbs and distill for aromatic waters and formulate our own line of skin care and wellness products.”
That’s Colorado Aromatics.
And as she explains on the company’s website, “Herbs provide multiple and complex antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties which help to combat signs of aging and skin damage caused by wind, sun and other environmental factors that we are exposed to on a daily basis.”
WHAT SKIN NEEDS
She says that our skin needs products that contain 1) moisture 2) vitamins and 3) a variety of nutrients. “Skin has to have a well-balanced diet.”
