Excel 2016 Protect a Worksheet
In this video, I explain how to protect a worksheet and cells within the worksheet with a password in Microsoft Excel 2016. By default, Excel protects all cells in a worksheet when applying a password. The author must unprotect individual cells if they want the user to be able to change a protected worksheet. I also show how to use the RANDBETWEEN function to create random numbers to use as ID numbers for employees. You must use the copy and paste special (values) command to keep the random numbers from changing each time you open the workbook.
