If you're ever in a room where "Oye Mi Canto" is playing, you know how proud Latinas are of their Boricua, Dominican, Colombian, and Mexican heritages. But Dominican photographer Jesse Ovalles thinks it's equally — if not more — important to unite as Latinos, too. Ovalles has had his fair share of people mistaking him for a white American, even though he, himself, is Dominican. In this week's episode, Concepción de Leon talks to Ovalles about Pan-Americanism and his animate photo collage series highlighting Dominican diversity.
